About Us

Rethinking support, reimagining possibilities.

At Re-think ADHD, we believe that understanding ADHD opens doors — not limits.
We are a community dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and professionals through practical support, shared experiences, and fresh thinking.

Our mission is simple: to reframe how ADHD is understood and supported, building a future where people with ADHD can thrive at every stage of life.

We exist for everyone living with ADHD, supporting someone with ADHD, or working to create ADHD-friendly environments at school, at home, or in the workplace.

What is ADHD?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common, lifelong neurodevelopmental difference that affects the way a person regulates their attention, energy, impulses, and emotions.

People with ADHD experience the world in ways that are dynamic, fast-paced, and full of creativity — but they may also face challenges in environments that aren’t designed with their brains in mind.

ADHD is not simply a matter of poor concentration or restlessness.
It’s a different way of thinking, feeling, and being — with a unique set of strengths, challenges, and opportunities.

The Strengths of ADHD

ADHD brings many powerful strengths that often go unrecognised. People with ADHD are often:

  • Creative problem-solvers who see possibilities others miss

  • Highly empathetic and sensitive to the needs of others

  • Passionate and energetic, able to inspire and motivate those around them

  • Resilient, having learned to adapt and persevere through challenges

  • Quick thinkers who can thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environments

  • Deeply focused on areas of genuine interest, achieving extraordinary results

At Re-think ADHD, we focus not just on managing challenges, but unlocking potential.

Challenges of Living with ADHD

While every person’s experience is different, common challenges faced by individuals with ADHD can include:

  • Difficulty with time management and organisation

  • Finding it hard to prioritise tasks or follow through on plans

  • Emotional regulation struggles, such as frustration or overwhelm

  • Sensory sensitivity and the need for dynamic, engaging environments

  • Fatigue from constantly adapting to “neurotypical” expectations

  • Managing multiple responsibilities at school, work, or home

Without the right understanding and support, these challenges can lead to low confidence, missed opportunities, and unnecessary frustration.

Our Vision

We imagine a world where ADHD is not misunderstood or stigmatised — but recognised, supported, and celebrated.
A world where every individual can access the knowledge, tools, and community they need to succeed on their own terms..
